Description
Beautifully illustrated Stacking Blocks featuring cut out for cars. Lots of ways to play: children can stack the blocks to create a tower or fit them together. They can also play on the floor and recreate all sorts of town designs, or even just play with the vehicles by themselves. There are wonderful stories to be told with this comprehensive game.
Stacking blocks are deceptively simple, but they support several core areas of early childhood development at once:
- Fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination. Picking up, rotating, and placing blocks requires precise control
- Spatial awareness and early problem-solving. When a child stacks blocks, they’re experimenting with balance, height, and positioning.
- Cognitive development (cause and effect) Stack → falls → try again
- Creativity and imagination with open-ended play
- Persistence and emotional regulation - learning to rebuild helps toddlers tolerate frustration and develop persistence
- 5 blocks illustrating a hospital, a fire station and a police station, as well as 3 vehicles with wheels: an ambulance, a fire engine and a police car
- Blocks made of thick and durable card
- Each block houses one vehicle
